Udikeri has done his Bachelors from the University of Agricultural Sciences. He has pursued his masters and Doctorate, with a Gold Medal for the first rank, in Agril. Entomology from the same university and is now an honored Professor of Entomology in the same. Dr. Udikeri is a fellow to the Cotton Research and Development Association and to the Commonwealth Academic. He has been honored as the Best visiting scientist to CRI, Gorgan, Iran and also as a moderator at World Cotton Research Conference-4. He has also been the chairman for the 6th conference of the series. He is currently a part of 9 associations at a national level.

Dr. Ladha is recognized internationally as an authority on sustainable agriculture for increasing food security and environmental quality. He served at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) from 1980 to 2017 and was a Ã¢â‚¬Å“FrostyÃ¢â‚¬Â Hill Fellow at Cornell University (July 07Ã¢â‚¬â€œJune 08) and an adjunct senior scientist at the columbia Univeristy until 2016. Currently, he is an Affliate Scientist in the University of California-Davis. Dr Ladha has published widely on issues related to sustainable and conservation agriculture.

Emma Chiavaro graduated in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology cum laude from the Sapienza University of Rome. She received a specialization degree in food chemistry and technology from the University of Parma in 1997 and a PhD in food of animal origin inspection from the University of Naples Federico II in 2000. From March to September 2001 she obtained a research contract at the Ã¢â‚¬Å“Stazione Sperimentale per lÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Industria delle Conserve Alimentari (SSICA)Ã¢â‚¬Â of Parma developing protocol analysis for the determination of mycotoxins on food matrices of animal and vegetable origin, through RP-HPLC and fast fluorimetric methods. From March 2002 to January 2005 she had a research grant of the University of Parma, Faculty of Agriculture, (theme "Optimization of heat sterilization treatments", SDS AGR/15 - Food Science and Technology) at the Department of Industrial Engineering. Professor Chiavaro is Associate Editor of the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture (Wiley) and LWT-Food Science and Technology (Elsevier), a member of the editorial board for Lipid Insights (Libertas Academica), Advances in Chemistry (Hindawi Publishing Corporation), and Journal of Food Research (Canadian Center of Science and Education), and acts as reviewer for more than 30 scientific journals. Associate Professor Yiannis Kourkoutas is Head of the Laboratory of Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology at the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics, Democritus University of Thrace, at Alexandroupolis, Greece. He obtained his first degree in Chemistry in 1997 and his PhD in Food Biotechnology in 2002, both from the University of Patras, Greece. He further continued for Post-Doctoral studies at the University of Ulster, UK. His current main research focus is on bioprocesses, novel food product development and nutrition (novel functional foods with potential health benefits, exploitation of agro-industrial wastes, high-added value products, etc). He has more than 200 publications/communications, including 77 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 14 chapters in books, 105 conference proceedings and 4 patents (citations>1400; h-factor: 20). He has been invited as a plenary keynote lecturer and has served as chairman in several conferences. He has participated in many research projects (totaling more than 3,850,000Ã¢â€šÂ¬), coordinating most of them. His funds derive from EU (7th FP), National Grants (Generally Secretary of Research and Technology, Greece) and the Food/Agriculture Industry. He has also served as Associate Editor in scientific journals, as Lead Guest Editor in many special issues, as reviewer in a high number of scientific journals and as evaluator of research proposals in national and European calls.
Yiannis Kourkoutas(Research Area)
His works focus its action on the subjects of food and environmental biotechnology and nutrition, with the aim of developing innovative technologies for the production of (a) new functional foods with potential beneficial effects on health (probiotics and prebiotics, natural products with positive effects, pharmaceuticals food, etc.) and (b) high added value products through the exploitation of various waste from the agro-industry by combining modern applications of Biotechnology.
Lingwen Zeng, received his PhD degree in Genetics from McMaster University, Canada in 1993 and his postdoctoral training from The University of Chicago, USA. He worked in three publicly traded companies (Quest Diagnostics Inc, Scios Inc, and Genetics Computer Group Inc) in USA as a research scientist and a project manager. Currently, he serves as a principle investigator in Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and director in the Institute of Environment and Safety, Wuhan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His research focuses on exploring novel molecular diagnostic technologies for human diseases, food and environmental safety.

He was 1st Spanish Award of Completion of Pharmacy and PhD Prize at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). He also was Associate Professor in 1991 at the University of Vigo, where he is Full Professor since 1999. He now leads a research group of excellence at NW Spain. In addition, he was leading CIA3 (Environmental, Agricultural and Food Research Center) formed by 10 research groups from different fields (botany, plant physiology, soil science and agricultural chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology, nutrition and food science, biotechnology, food technology, food rheology, chemical engineering, and colloidal chemistry) since 2008 till 2018, and also was the Head of the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Food Science at the University of Vigo between 2013 and 2018. He was also Vice-Chancellor for Internationalization at the University of Vigo in 2018.
Jesus Simal-Gandara(Research Area)
His research group is specialized in chromatographic separations (GC-MS and LC-MS) and molecular biology and proteomics. He investigates the distribution of agricultural and environmental organic chemical contaminants in the food production chain, and how improving the sensory and functional quality of food, with an eye on the food chain globally, integrating environment, agriculture and food with nutrition and public health issues. His focus today is on the study of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) from the point of view of public health (epidemiology, toxicity of mixtures, metabolites ...), and on the study of secondary metabolites in plant foods, exploring the molecular mechanisms that explain their activity.
K. Given is the elected Vice President of Indiana Urban Pollination Project and also for Heartland Honey Bee Breeders Cooperative. He received the award for Outstanding Service in the Department of Entomology, Perdue University, in 2016 and has 9 published research works.
